California English Muffin Burger
Indulge in our California English Muffin Burger. This layered bite packs a punch.
4 Thomas’® Original English Muffins, split
12 oz. lean ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
4 slices Havarti cheese
1 red tomato, thinly sliced
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 large avocado, halved and sliced
Salt and pepper ground beef mix with 1 egg. Form into 4 patties. Add to refrigerator and let cool for 10 minutes. Preheat a lightly oiled grill over moderate heat and grill burgers until cooked through, about 6 to 7 minutes per side, topping them with cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Transfer to plate as cooked. Layer tomatoes, burger patties, red onions, and avocado on each English muffin. Top and enjoy!
